The reason for the large fuel consumption of air compressors
Time:2014/7/25 13:44:14 Browse:

Air compressor operation and ambient conditions affect the height of the oil receiver surface of the oil return receiver. The effectiveness of primary separation and return systems can lead to temporary or long-term increases in oil carrying capacity. For example, blockage of the oil drain system can cause oil to accumulate on the dry side of the separator element. When the return oil line is completely blocked, the amount of oil carried is equal to the primary amount of separation. The oil level in the oil return receiving trough can also have a similar effect. If there is no marked phase separation zone between the air and the oil, the primary separation will be affected. This will also have a negative effect on the oil carrying performance. Too much oil in the receiving tank may lead to a large amount of penetration of the foaming oil under certain conditions when the used oil oil is slowly deflated. In other words, excessive humidification of the oil separator filter element will cause the oil to carry. The amount increases.

In addition to the listed factors that have a negative impact on fuel consumption and operational failures, the gasification part of the fuel can reach a relatively high level and therefore can cause similar problems in oil and gas separators. The oil vapor content can be as high as 10 mg/m3 (10 PPM) at normal working conditions of 80 °C. This depends on the type and brand of oil used.

Reasons for increased fuel consumption of air compressors:

A, clogging of return pipeline

B. Type of oil, oil vapor

C. Oil tanker note and overfill

D, air release bubbles

E. Return or fluctuation of compressed air

F, temperature, flow rate Economic operating life

Air compressor oil management

A. Regularly change air compressor oil

B. Change the filter regularly

C, regular replacement of air filter

D. Compatibility of oil

E. Impurities in oil

Air compressor oil selection

A, anti-aging

B. Stress on water

C. Compressor adaptability

D、Air separation performance

Operating conditions

A, ambient temperature

B. Cooling and oil temperature of the assembly

C. Foreign matter in the air

D, filter surface velocity

E, is strictly prohibited emptying, reflux, fluctuations
